The Short Version

Use TrainerHub Pro to run your dog training business. Be respectful, don't do anything illegal, and keep your account secure. We'll provide a reliable service, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. You own your data. We can update these terms, but we'll give you notice. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us.

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using TrainerHub Pro, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

These terms are a legal contract between you (the dog trainer or training business) and TrainerHub Pro. They explain your rights and responsibilities when using our platform.

2. Your account

Creating an account:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must be authorized to represent the business you're signing up for
  • One person or business may not create multiple accounts to abuse free trials

Account security:

  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure
  • Don't share your account credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account

Team accounts: If you invite team members (trainers), you're responsible for their actions on your account. Make sure they understand and follow these terms.

3. Using the service

What we provide:

  • A web-based platform for managing your dog training business
  • Tools for client management, training plans, session logging, and progress tracking
  • Secure data storage and backups
  • Customer support via email
  • Regular updates and improvements

Service availability:

We work hard to keep TrainerHub Pro running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that temporarily interrupt service.

  • Planned maintenance: We'll try to give advance notice
  • Emergency fixes: May happen without notice to protect security
  • Third-party issues: We rely on hosting providers - their outages affect us too

4. Acceptable use policy

You may use TrainerHub Pro for lawful dog training business purposes only. You agree NOT to:

Prohibited activities:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes or to promote illegal activities
  • Store or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to hack, breach security, or access unauthorized areas
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Spam, harass, or abuse other users or our support team
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download data (except our official export features)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts

Consequences: Violating these rules may result in account suspension or termination, with or without notice. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement.

5. Your content and data

You own your data:

All the content you upload or create in TrainerHub Pro belongs to you. This includes:

  • Client and dog information
  • Training plans and session notes
  • Photos and files you upload
  • Business information and settings

License you grant us:

To provide the service, you give us permission to:

  • Store and back up your data on our servers
  • Display your content back to you and authorized team members
  • Send emails on your behalf (like sharing client portals)
  • Make technical copies for backups and performance optimization

Important: This license ends when you delete your content or close your account. We won't use your data for any other purpose without your permission.

Your responsibilities:

  • You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you upload
  • You must have the right to upload and share any content (including client photos)
  • You must comply with privacy laws when collecting client data
  • Back up important data - we provide backups but aren't liable for data loss

6. Payments and subscriptions

Free trial:

  • New accounts may receive a free trial period
  • No payment method required for the trial
  • We may limit trial features or duration
  • One trial per person/business - creating multiple accounts for extra trials is prohibited

Paid subscriptions:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel
  • Price changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice
  • Failed payments: We'll try to contact you, but may suspend your account if payment fails

Cancellation and refunds:

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months or unused time (except as required by law)
  • Annual subscriptions: no refunds after first 30 days

Special circumstances: If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact us. We'll work with you on a fair solution, which may include a refund.

7. Our intellectual property

TrainerHub Pro, including our software, design, logos, and content, is our property and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

What you can't do:

  • Copy, modify, or redistribute our software
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on our platform
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

What you can do:

  • Use screenshots in reviews or testimonials (with credit)
  • Mention "powered by TrainerHub Pro" on your website
  • Link to our website

8. Warranties and disclaimers

What we promise:

  • We'll provide the service with reasonable care and skill
  • We'll respond to support requests in a reasonable timeframe
  • We'll implement reasonable security measures

Important disclaimers:

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Beyond the promises above, we make no other warranties, express or implied.

  • We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We don't guarantee the service will meet all your specific needs
  • We're not responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
  • TrainerHub Pro is a tool - professional dog training decisions are your responsibility

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability to you for any claims related to TrainerHub Pro is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Example: If you paid $50/month for 6 months, our maximum liability would be $300.

What we're not liable for:

  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Loss of data (make your own backups!)
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Damages caused by your misuse of the service
  • Third-party services or integrations we don't control
  • Issues caused by your internet connection or device

Nothing in these terms limits liability for: Death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.

10. Termination

You can leave anytime:

  • Cancel your subscription from your account settings
  • Download your data before closing your account
  • Account closure is permanent - we can't recover deleted data

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these terms or our acceptable use policy
  • Payment fails and you don't update your payment method
  • Your account poses a security risk
  • We're required to by law

What happens after termination:

  • You'll lose access to your account immediately
  • We may delete your data after a grace period (typically 30 days)
  • Backup copies may remain for a limited time for technical reasons
  • Terms that should survive (like confidentiality and liability) continue to apply

11. Dispute resolution

Let's talk first:

Governing law:

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and [Your Country/State]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

Note for EU users: Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU law. If there's a conflict between these terms and mandatory consumer protection laws, the laws win.

12. General terms

  • Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms
  • If you don't agree to changes, you can cancel your account

  • Entire agreement:

    These terms (plus our Privacy Policy) are the complete agreement between us.

  • No waiver:

    If we don't enforce a term, that doesn't mean we've waived the right to enforce it later.

  • Severability:

    If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.

  • No assignment:

    You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our permission. We can transfer ours (like in a merger).

  • Force majeure:

    We're not liable for delays or failures due to events outside our control (natural disasters, pandemics, war, etc.).
